Stefan Lamm (Dortmund, 1969) has been appointed new Head of Exterior Design at SEAT, replacing Jorge Díez, currently Head of Audi Automotive Concept Design in Munich. Lamm will join the company on February 1, and will report directly to Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Head of Design at SEAT.
Lamm holds a degree in Transport Design Sciences from the Vevey (Switzerland) Art Center College of Design. Prior to this he studied at the School of Design of the University of Pforzheim. Before joining SEAT he worked at Ford for ten years, initially (until 2009) as person in charge of Exterior Design, and later as Head of Exterior Design at Ford Europe. He had previously formed part of the Design department at Opel AG.
