I’m new here and just bought a used Seat Leon FR 2.0 TDI DSG.
One thing I noticed after getting home was that there were no gearshift paddles. Everything I’ve read says that it should have them and the dealers advert even stated that it had had them.
Were there some FRs built before it became standard? It was first registered in May 2013.
I’m not sure the gearshift paddles are standard. Certainly when I was looking they were an option on the 180FR DSG. Check the website, but I think they are probably an option.
I’ve found an old copy of the brochure lying around on my computer (June 2013 I think) and it definitely lists ‘Steering wheel mounted gearshift paddles (DSG models only)’ as an option (available on FR only). I seem to have a vague recollection of it being about £120 (which might explain why yours hasn’t got them).
