Hi im wondering is it possible to change the bumper on a 1.6 leon ecomotive to the fr im hearing alot of things about changing lights amd wings can anyone help me on the issue thanks

All MK2 leons have the same wings.

If your car is a facelift car you need to fit facelift bumpers.

If it’s prefacelift you need to fit prefacelift bumpers.

Im not sure if its a facelift or not. All I know is that its a 2011 seat leon 1.6 ecomotive, I was looking to put the 2008 fr bumper on the car, can u tell me what the difference is between the facelift and pre thanks

It’s a facelift.

To fit 2008 bumpers you need to fit 2088 headlights Aswell I’m afraid

So it would just be a straight change from the standard bumper to the fr bumper

Yes the top grill is the same, you just need the bumper

And with the 2008 bumper would only need to change the headlights in the car

So would be just easier putting the 2011 bumper onto the car, it just I think the 2008 bumper looks nice. Would it be the same with the btcc bumper aswelk or is it universal to all the leons

Ive found a guy who selling a facelift fr 2011 bumper so would it be the one that would suit my car

Thanks for your help mate real appreciated 🙂 suppose you wouldnt know anyone who would have the bumper in silver in good conditionwith the bits lol
