Firstly, welcome to the forum.
According to the WhatCar website, a valuation on that car is roughly worth £2475 from a dealer. So looking at £2995 isn’t that far off.
One of the main things I would be asking is when the cam belt was last done. Check the service schedule as it should have been done at around 120K. If it hasn’t, either get it discounted from the price or ask to have it done first. It’s going to cost around £400 odd, which is much less than a new or replacement engine if it hasn’t been changed and it snaps.
Has the car got much info with it? Dealer services, any modifications? Would be nice to hear what you have found.
Other than that all you’ll have is the general little bits to do unless they have been done already, as in leaking door seals, rear washer pipe popping off, and other common little faults. Nothing major to worry about.
There are loads of little things that can also be done to improve the cars looks or performance, All subtle of course. I’ll have to sort my pics out so I can show off some of my mods so you can see what I mean.
