    Hi guys. Recently, I’ve been thinking about purchasing and installing an aftermarket air filter for my ’03 1.4 Leon. But, I have a few questions I’d like to run by some of you more knowledgeable folks before I do.

    1. Would I stand to gain much (power-wise) by installing an aftermarket air filter on a smaller capacity engine?
    2. If so, would an aftermarket air filter solely improve performance or would there be a noticeable audible difference too?
    3. And lastly, are there any particular brands/models you’d recommend?

    I added an induction kit to my 1.4 but to be honest I can’t say there was a real difference… Sounds better though!
