Memberhi guys, whats the best remap for a 140 2.0l TDI FR?? just bought 1 and wondering what options everyone has found best. have had a drive in an approx 170 bhp remapped but was wondering what everyone else has done and what power gains were there to be taken outta the engine 😀 lol

MemberIt’s a 61 plate so I’d say the 2nd 1. And I’m based in ayrshire, Scotland.

ModeratorThe newer CR engines are alot easier to tune, i would recommend using one of the big boys in VAG Tuning either REVO or APR
Now REVO and APR both expensive compared to some of these small companies that offer “custom” remapping (not really custom just downloaded from internet) but what you are paying for with APR and REVO is the knowledge that the map they are flashing has been tested thoroughly and wont break your car. ive seen the testing that APR put into their maps and thats why i trust them with my car
APR (APR are a USA company, There UK Company is based in Milton keynes) have a dealer in Glasgow called Ecotune Scotland.
REVO also have a dealer in Glasgow i think
Other than that i would recommend Shark performance (Mansfield), Darkside Developments (Mansfield) and R-Tech (leicestershire)

Just noticed your from MK, I’m not far away (Just across the bridge) where did you get your APR remap?
