This is taken from a post on IbizaOC from ‘Spanny’:

    Good morning guys,
Im not sure if some of you have seen over on seatcupra.net, but when i used to organise the cov meets when i was on there there used to be a young guy called martin attend. Unfortunately last week martin was tragically killed in a 5 car pile up after crashing head on with a lorry and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Becuase of this i would like to organise a meet in memory of martin, who was a fire fighter at Birmingham Airport. Sadly last year another regular to the meet, also a fireman, Timmah aka Tim was also tragically killed in another RTA. Im currently in talks with the people who own Coombe abbey in Coventry to see if they can set aside a big enough area to have all our cars on display, and also try to raise some money for charity to go towards either the west midlands fire service, or, a charity martin was heavily involved in and passionate about which was victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Im going to try to arrange the meet for late september early october, where there is also a possibility of camping over if i get the ok from the owners. We’ll have a BBQ, drinks, food, football, and anything else fun people can think about doing……

If anyone is interested in coming can you please let me know on here and then ill create a list……..

Please see the pics below of both martin and tim at the cov meets of old.

Martin is the guy 2nd in from the left in the black shirt at the front
