    I have 1.9TDi SX Leon. Everything has been alright so far. Last week I noticed that the excessive pollution light has come on and that has not changed anything while I am driving in town. On the motorway while I was trying to overtake a polo I found that the car just didnt have any power. The only thing I can think of is that the turbo stopped working and it was wheezing in 4th gear to get to 60mph. I stopped the car just to check everything is ok and everything was alright when I took off. It again happened to me today while I was on the motorway, a total lack of power. Anybody else has this problem?? Any suggestions much appreciated as I am thinking of taking it to the garage otherwise…

    Thanks AMC.. It done 42,000 miles and I will get vag-com check. Any ideas how much that costs? thanks

    its quite costly, would set you back 50 – 60 pounds from a dealer, or alternativly you can buy a cheap cable from ebay and run the test yourself with a laptop, i have both a cheap cable and the genuine one, where abouts are you located?

    You know what. I might pop in portsmouth. I hate going to garages as its always a ploy to rip me off(Maybe its only Reading) plus I would like to learn this stuff. It it is ok with you, do let me know when is it convinient for you and I will see whether I can make it.. Cheers!

    Sorry today was MOT day! Spend all day sorting that out lol! Well im working from 12 until about 9 / 10 pm tomorrow and sunday, would you be able to make it around 11.30 ish either day?? if not im free all day next thursday!
