    Very please with my new Leon. First SEAT.
    I stayed with 17 inch wheels. I did test-drive 18 inch, but the roads in the UK have got too bad for less suspension, when you have reached my age.
    I took the Tech pack offer. The Lights look “modern”. Sat Nav is adequate, but M8 is better.
    Tried Audi A3 (higher price and longer lead-time) and Ford Focus (could only test drive 1.0 and 1.6D…). Real struggle getting to test-drive decent petrol engines.
    Still running-in, but getting plenty of response already :reddevil:

    Hi, welcome to the forum. Good to hear that you’re enjoying your new car.

    I’m currently waiting for delivery of my new Leon. I decided to go for the 1.4 as I didn’t think the 1.8 offered that much more performance and seemed to have considerably higher running costs, but I guess that is a personal decision. Just out of interest, how long did you have to wait to take delivery? I’ve been quoted 12 weeks, but that seems to be a standard number rather than a definite timescale.

    You are probably right about running cost. But I could not resist.
    Delivery was potentially 8 weeks, but I delayed for the 14 Registration.
