Hi I have a st fr184. I was just wondering what mileage people are getting out of a tank of fuel. I am only getting about 390 miles from a tank on combined driving (round town and a and B roads). I thought when I purchased the car that I would get a bit more then that. My average mpg according to the computer is around the high 30’s. Any help would be great

I get around 500+, but I do try to drive smoothly, if still as fast as limits allow and use engine braking a lot. On a motorway run at between 75-80 mine does about 60MPG, but I have got almost 30k miles on it now. But even from the first it’s been averaging high 40s to mid 50s. I doubt your dealer would find anything wrong, saying it’s driving style, but you can always ask!

Hi. I have now done a full tank of fuel and driving very carefully around town and a bit of duel carriage way driving and I have got 470 miles from the tank of fuel, but that is very very careful driving. Does that sound about right?

seems low to me – how new is the engine? Sometimes it takes a few thousand miles to loosen up, but mine did 58MPG the first week I had it on a 400 mile trip. Always about 53mpg between fill-ups. Careful driver though…..old git watching the pennies!
