Hi everyone

Picked up this beast last weekend

I’m moving to Germany and wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to change the light over to being on the Right hand side of the road, or do I actually have to buy completly new lights? As i’ve heard 2 different people say can just change them with a flick of the switch.

Not sure with the MK3 would be best asking SEAT UK to advise I will try to find out aswell

So it was something possible on the mk2? How did you do it, must be simular? Forgot to add i don’t have xenons or the LED lights.

Nope it wasn’t a friend of mine who is in the army was based in Germany, He had a full set of rear and front LHD lights that he used to swap

Andrew was that defo on the new Leon, how long ago was it, any idea what he paid as fear it will be same for me 🙁

No that was a MK2

Ive made contact with a seat dealer technician he’s looking into it for you

Awesome, I’ve had them tested as part of my German road worthiness test, the beams face the wrong way for driving on the right hand side.

sitting with Volkswagen UK master technician and he said that the LED lights they don’t need changing they are RHD and LHD friendly but they have a tourist mode aswell.

Hes going to send me the documentation for it soon so we can know for sure.

Sadly I have the halogen, didn’t buy the LED ones as thought I’d be replacing them, doh!
