I’ve just fitted a budget hid kit to my 1.4 mk1 but I’ve realised that instead of one lamp that get brighter and dimmer there’s two lamps for full/dipped beam :bash: so I’ve instead had to connect into the dipped beam which means that, A) my lights are two different colours and B) the dipped lights are even less bright than the stock ones… Just wondering if I should get a different kit that supplies both lamps or I could remove the cover from the dipped lights to allow more light through and put in xenon lamps to the high beams so there the same colour?? Any advice?

HID kits are usually used for dip beam only, i had them on my MK4 Ibiza and MK2 Leon FR
