I have an annoying problem with the interior light, which never seems to turn off.
Doors open or closed, the light is always on.
I have taken the lit unit out and cleaned the connections for the slider switch but no difference.
I assumed the next logical place to check would be the CCM.
So after taking it out, the circuit board looks fine, no corrosion, or green fluff.
The 3 wiring plugs that go into it, 2 black and 1 brown. Not sure which operates what lol.
The plug nearest the passenger side (black) had one wire with black insulating tape around it, which I peeled off, to find what seems to be a bare wire taped to the wire beside it. As seen in the picture.
Does that look right?
It looks to me like the 2 wires are taped up ‘normally’, and at some stage have had the original protective plastic removed and then re-taped up.
