I have recently noticed the door seals on my Mk3 SC FR appear to be letting water in between the inner and outer door seals on both doors. On a couple of time I have had spot of water enter the inside when the door is closed. As I was concerned about this I reported this under waranty to my dealer. They had my car for a day and then told me that they found this is normal as other cars had the same problem. Not being very happy with this explaination I reported this to Seat Customer Service. Seat told me that the door has been designed with this inner and out seal system that allow the water to get between the doors seal and then drain out when the door are open. They say they are not aware of any issues with this causing rust problem yet they said they had given the doors extra rust proofing. This makes me feel they have concerns that with time they will be rust problem with the doors. Has any one else had this with Mk3 Leon’s
