Hello to everyone.
Im Rob, from South London(croydon) just got 2001 1.6 16V its my first car.
Would have loved a cupra but gotta be realistic with insurance and running cost so setteled on that.
Not even had the car a day but already seem to be more than pleased with it.

Also will just ad i am a fully trained mechanic. I own a VAG Com system and more importantly know how to use it. I will try n help out on any promblems i know of or can get info on, that will arrise on the site when it gets up to full speep.

Welcome aboard Rob. Glad to have someone like yourself on board as those VAG-COM cables and software are a god send sometimes. You seem to be enjoying the car already which is always a bonus. 😀

Once the site its up to speed im sure there’ll be questions flying at you from all angles!

You got the motor then! 😀

VAG Com is a live saver, I got the cable, but not the software haha!

Yer future plans for the car rele are to tidy up overall bodywork sticking with a OEM theme like colour codeing all bumpers and rub strips. Just wanna make it subtly diffrent from a standard leon. Gonna be stcking some ICE and alarm in. Also when all funds are availble will be sorting out all suspension and wheels. When i get goin on the mods is there anywhere can post progress reports and the like.
