MemberFound the Leon Ecomotive 1.6 110HP 6sp on the price list. Odd a salesman didn’t mention it when I test drove the 1.6 5sp a few weeks ago.
Much better spec than the Golf equivalent – SE vs S.Sent from my BlackBerry® 9790 using Tapatalk

ParticipantCollected mine from the dealers yesterday. 1.6TDi SE Tech Pack 5 door in black. I am very impressed with it all round. My first venture in VAG cars too.

ParticipantI’ve only just got my new 1.2TSI DSG Se but I’m finding fuel consumtion poor. I’m a notoriously economical driver (getting 70mpg from my Octavia 1.6 diesel TDI) but can’t better 44mpg average under any conditions. This includes 50-60 on flat A roads, albeit mixed driving and little motorway cruising but I was hoping for 50-55 mpg. Could it be because it is not run in and engine is still very tight after 200 miles only.
Driving is really smooth and quiet but I’m finding seats a bit less supportive and harder than the Skoda. Maybe I need to get bedded in as well!

P.S – Why is the CD Player and media put in such a ridiculous position as the glove box?May 14, 2015 at 11:39 pm #136822015LEONFR
ParticipantHi All,
Just receive new MK3 FR 2.0, 150ps. Lovely motor, power is perfect for my M62 drives. As my order was via my company I only got the standard version (no tech pack) 🙁 but still very happy.
Does anyone know of decent accessories to give it a little more individuality, classy stuff, not go faster stripes etc. 🙂 ??May 19, 2015 at 12:08 pm #13699andrewpain
ParticipantI’ve done nothing to the outside of mine, although I did consider mudflaps.
Probably better off finding a fellow owner or specialist service garage with VCDS software who might customise the settings for you, such as the Sound Actuator (if you have it), cornering driving lamps, folding the mirrors on one-press locking – stuff like that.
enjoy the car:-)October 18, 2015 at 1:23 pm #14425leonfr1

Participantit’s too easy to break the speed limit.

ParticipantMy Leon fr 184 arrived last week , I am impressed with the quality build/ ride , I am taking it easy at the moment but can feel the power , I am looking forward to putting a few miles on the clock then I can open it up a little although I really enjoy the drive and do not feel the need to floor the pedal because it’s so smooth . All good so far with nothing negative to say about the car , the only niggle I have is the full link function , it says I need a code from the dealer and from what I’ve read it should have been selected when I ordered the car ( I would have done if I had known what it was plus it has the tech pack so I think it’s a bit stingy not to include it at a price over £24,600) but it’s no big deal if It can’t be activated I am still impressed with the car
