Stage 2/3 involve turbos etc not something you can really do with a 1.2

Seems like the 1.4 is. Going by info below………

” 1.4 TSI with supercharger and turbocharger; “

Seat Leon 1.2 TSI SE Copa
    Price: £16,940; Top speed: 115mph; 0-62mph: 11.0sec; Economy: 52.3mpg combined; CO2: 124g/km; Kerb weight: 1280kg; Engine: 4cyl, 1197cc, turbocharged petrol; Power: 104bhp at 5000rpm; Torque: 129lb ft at 1550rpm; Gearbox: 6spd manual

^^^^^ Above info might be wrong as i quoted from another site. So dont hold me to it.

MMMMM interesting if it is tho.
Might be a easy mod, to put a supercharger on yours, as they do one for the 1.4.
You need to check, why they never did it, to the 1.2 as well tho. Engine might not be strong enough.

The leon 1.4 TSI just uses a turbo charger but I think the 1.4 TSI in the Altea is Twin-charged (uses both a turbo & super charger) prob due to the extra weight.

The 1.4 TSI’s with more that 125ps in other makes and models are also Twin charged like the 160/180 bhp Golf, the 180 bhp Ibiza and Scoda Fabia VRS.

The ‘S’ in TSI stands for “Stratified” not supercharged. Only the high powered TSI versions are supercharged.
