Morning all

I’m new to this site, so hello!
I have an 07 plate Leon TDI that I bought recently. It needed new front shocks which I have replaced. As you are probably aware the wipers have to be removed to access the top nuts for the shocks.
Whilst doing this I broke the near side wiper stalk assembly undoing the nut, so I ordered a new assembly disconnected the motor and replaced the assembly.

Now the wipers work again but do not park against the A pillars as they should, they now park at the base of the windscreen like conventional wipers.

Any ideas? I’ve disconnected the battery for over 30 minutes to see if that resets them, but no joy.

Any help greatly appreciated.
