Looking forward to learning lots about the mk2 FR TSFI… 🙂
I just bought a 2006 FR TFSI in red and love it, although it’s in need of a little TLC…
It’s going in for 35mm lowered springs, new alternator belt and tensioner, cam belt and water pump in the next few days, just to get started… I also noticed one of the rubber grommets was missing from the engine cover/air filter box so ordered one in… Next will be AET for the turbo and the clutch is just fine so that should make the car road worthy for the next couple of years or so…
I’m looking for inspiration for alloys and exhausts, if anyone can help by posting pics… 😉
Finally, it just rained here quite heavily about 30mins ago and I went outside to find all of the windows down?!… I ran to the car and all the seats etc are bone dry but I certainly didn’t leave the windows down… Water running into the central locking unit?…
Anyway, these cars go like stink… Loving it!…
