hi does anyone know why the radio volume goes up when you accelerate then down when you decelerate?hmmm

Yep, it’s called speed-related volume control. Basically the volume on the stereo playing will increase slightly when accelerating to cut out excess road noise and vise versa when decelerating. Its pretty much a standard operation on cars nowadays.

Hope this answers your question 😀

Has anyone had problems with the standard radio cutting in and out of phone mode and almost muting the volume instantly on a random basis? As such I’m thinking about changing the head unit how easy is it to do and what radio keys will I need. I have a 52 plate 1.6s.

    Thanks
