Not long before my first service I noticed that my hazard light switch was sticking on. I had to flick it to get it to turn off. Booked the first service (not at the supplying dealer) and mentioned it.
They said yes, we know, it’s on your car’s record that it needs to be replaced. Now that must have been put there by the supplying dealer before delivery, so I’d been driving around for nearly a year with a dodgy hazard light switch.
If that’s SEAT policy – to keep schtum – I wonder how many other cars are in need of attention that the owner doesn’t know about.
Personally I think unreliable hazard lights is a safety issue. Clearly SEAT didn’t.
