MemberHi Guys, im new to all this so i may not be posting in the right place however im having a few issues with my 2001 Seat Leon:
OIL LIGHT FLASHES AND BEEPS 3 TIMES – Only seems to do this at 2.5 K revs
CONTROLS FOR WINDOWS AND MIRRORS DON’T WORK ON DRIVERS DOOR – however when pressing the lock button it appears to work. Not helpful in this weather. although i can open it using key in lock.
CLOCK AND TRIP DISTANCE RESET AFTER TURNING CAR OFF – happens every time
ENGINE SOUNDS LOUD – could only be described as a ticking noise. downhill in neutral goes alot quieter. Louder when accelerating.
REV COUNTER STAYS AT 1 – when i turn off car the rev counter stayc at 1. then when i turn it on again it goes down. (not sure if this is by design or not)
apart from these issues i love the car
NOTE – there is oil in the car.

MemberThe trip computer will be down to a missing fuse.
Check the fuse box in the drivers end of the dashboard.
Can’t remember what number it is though, but if you search. Y previous threads you will find it
