LeonOC Are proud to present the Limited Editon STR (Special Tuning Racing) exhaust manufactured by STR’s sponsor Scorpion Exhaust’s

We have teamed up with our partners at Scorpion, who manufacture the exhaust systems for our race cars, to bring SEAT Leon owners some of the performance and sound of an STR Leon.

The exhaust has been developed with and without a centre silencer so you can decide what sound you would like. For the diesel models we would recommend the system without the centre silencer, it also sounds great on the petrol versions as well. Don’t want to wake the neighbours in the morning? Go for the added silencer but still keep that great performance.

The pipe work is 70mm diameter mandrel bent T304 stainless steel. The tailpipes are twin 76mm Daytona and feature the STR logo on the side.

Each exhaust will have a limited edition plaque and serial number, and the numbers will be limited to a run of 100 systems.

The exhausts carry a lifetime guarantee with Scorpion for the original purchaser of the exhaust.

The Exhaust will fit most Leon MkII’s with the rear left exit exhaust. The models are listed below

with an adapter down to 54mm (2?”)

2.0FSi 150bhp Petrol

2.0TDi 140bhp Diesel

2.0TDi 170bhp Diesel

with an adapter down to 57mm (2¼”)

2.0TFSi 185bhp Petrol

2.0TFSi 200bhp Petrol

2.0TFSi 211bhp Petrol

2.0TFSi 240bhp Petrol

Adapters will be supplied as part of the system.

I must say, being lucky enough to own one of the R&D cars for this exhaust, I got the chance to “try it out”.

The exhaust is great, hard to describe the sound, on tick-over, a nice “rumble/gurgle”, and on acceleration, a sporty sound, but not a cheap sound.

This exhaust is a well needed alternative to the current types available (Milltek, Remus, Blueflame etc), and is easily on a par with these from a quality point of view, but more importantly, the customer service at Scorpion is fantastic.
