Apologies if this has already been discussed; I was unable to find anything definitive in the forums…

I’m looking to get all 4 wheels refurbished without leaving the car at the workshop (I have some other work I’d like to do, in the meantime). I’ve seen a lot of talk about the safety of using 4 axle stands and I’m not convinced it’s the best option so I’ve ‘acquired’ some hefty railway sleepers and considering a combination of them and 2 axle stands.

So, axle stands on the recommended jacking points front or rear; any suggestions on where I could place the sleepers?? Cut to size, of course!

Any help would be very appreciated.
