    Hi there,
I am hoping that someone can help?
In February I had my crank snap so had to replace the engine with a recon lump. The engine was low mileage and in very good condition. Straight away I had issues with the turbo pipes into the intercooler blowing off, so I quickly replaced these which did not make any difference. Later we replaced the actuator on the turbo and no difference, then changed the turbo itself to the one from the old engine as they were of a different Garret and no difference. Cleaned the EGR valve out and replaced the throttle bodies and no difference. Replaced the Turbo control valve and recently the boost control sensor (MAP) and no difference. I have had to fix the turbo intercooler pipes with self tappers in place as I was losing oil. The symptoms are now the turbo may work for a while but eventually will just cut out as if it is going into limp mode and when I switch the car off and on again it will work again and then cut out again which is mainly on major rounds in the higher gears. I have the emissions light on the dash which will not go out and frankly do not know which way to turn next to fix this issue. Hope someone can help?
My car is a Seat Leon 2007 1.9TDI

Not a massive expert but have you attached an OBDII reader and checked for any codes?
