Hi all, just a quick question to every one.I currently have quite a bit of white smoke coming out of my Exhaust when i start my car up and sometimes when I accelerate, also when I serviced it the other day and changed my spark plugs there was a fair bit of oil on the spark plugs and in the spark plug cambers which I thought was a bit odd and when you accelerate it does’nt seem to want to go all of the time as if there is a bit of hesitation, any help on this would be very appreciated as iv ran out of ideas on what it is,

    Cheers Neal.

Are any fault codes being shown? Engine management light? Is the engine using oil or water? Air filter changed at service? Did you change the plugs at the service? Could be a number of things. Easy to check the cheap ones first.

I changed the plugs and the air filter when I done the service aswell as the oil, pollen filter, fuel filter and oil filter, the engine light is on but I haven’t seen any fault codes and it is using a bit of oil but it did have a bit of an oil leak aswell from the sump but I fixed that on the service.
    Hope this helps.

Get it fault scanned to see what the light is on for. Could be a simple fault to fix like a sensor or coil pack/s. Do you know anyone with VAG-com or a code reader or got one yourself?

cheers for the help mate, but I dont know anyone with a fault reader and its not the cheapest thing to get chacked at the dealers especially as the nearest dealer is about 20-30 miles away.
