Brands Hatch was the venue for the latest rounds of the WTCC. I was lucky enough to witness the event and have captured some shots throughout.

Before i carry on, may i just add my condolences to the Surtees family after the death of young Henry Surtees on Sunday 19th July. As some of you may or may not know Henry was just 18 years young when the tragic accident yesterday occured.

Henry was negotiating the next corner after existing Westfield and was struck on the head by a wheel and tyre from rival competitor, Jack Clarke after Jack hit the barrier. Henry was knocked unconcious and subsequently carried straight on through the bend into the next barrier. His team were quick to the scene easing Henry out of the damaged F2 car and was airlifted to hospital. He died later that day.
