MemberNo DPF, if unsure get Cambelt done again and please spend the extra money getting a Genuine VW one. Do not compromise on a cheap after market part!

MemberTypical of a yellow one mate. Just keep polishing it with G3

MemberAll I can say is I love my FR Tdi 170, remapped is pushing 200+ BHP, mega torque and driving like I do which is very fast indeed I get 36-42mpg. In the early hours one morning last week I sat at 120mph ish for 25 mins, mpg was 26 then and that’s impressive!

MemberTrue and I hope so. I run Performance Remap by the way, nice to meet you.

MemberDid u find any I go? I will probably buy a new set off eBay for £60. Don’t Suppose your anywhere near Gloucester?
ChrisLeonFR
MemberThis is why Revo won’t even remap them. To be fair mine is remapped and ok since the DPF was cleaned out, before this I was regularly taking the map off and trust me my map is good. 🙂

MemberLovely car. My 2nd Leon was yellow. 1 word of advice, polish it everytime you wash it to prevent paint fade.
ChrisLeonFR

MemberYou can also clean them out. If you are getting the 170PD remapped removing the DPF is essential, it will block up fast! The DPF also needs physically remove from the system as well as from ECU. DPF’s are a pain!
ChrisLeonFR
MemberDPF’s are a big issue on these, I know from experience! You can get them cleaned out or removed altogether. I was getting the light up all the time and the main dealer replaced the fuel filter and hey presto not had a problem since.

MemberI am not a big fan of induction kits unless you spend a fortune on a Ram air one your just pulling hot air in from the engine bay and potentially loosing power, even with a good one the gains are small. The single biggest performance you can make for a low cost is a remap, it would push yours to around 215bhp.
