    Maybe if they’ve replaced the 5W30 oil with 20W50 or something daft like that? Other than that, not sure.

    If the oil is changed frequently enough, timing chains shouldn’t need to be changed at all, that’s sort of the point of them.

    Not a massive expert but have you attached an OBDII reader and checked for any codes?
