So it arrived. Says Volkswagen on the SD card – I take it that’s ok? Nevertheless it doesn’t read.

Its strange that they would have sent you an sd card for a VW, though. Email them again, tell them what problems you’re having.

Just says ‘can’t read SD’ or something similar – only says it very briefly. I sent them an email on Wednesday and have still got no reply. Sent a return request today. No phone number on the site that I can see.

Deffo wrong sd card. Send them another email, and hopefully they will respond on Monday. Include your contact number, and they may call you.
