Yeah have done that. Will give them till Monday evening or I’ll have to raise a resolution with PayPal. Not really sure how to identify which card is for me – the one with the correct picture (ie same looking device as mine) says in the description it won’t work with 5F0 codes which mine is.

Anyway hopefully someone gets in contact and I can get the right one.

Pass that info (doesn’t work with 5FO) on to them. I’m sure they will know what the right part is.

So…I didn’t get anywhere with customer support which is a shame as I really would like the navi system back working (and not pay a ridiculous price). Still they issued me a refund this morning which was good of them.

I’ll have a look for a few alternative sites then. At least ee now know what the wrong card is. Hopefully, you have noted the part number on the card?

You mean the wrong card? The VW one? I have a picture of it but they haven’t asked for it back. I have no use for it either…obviously.

There are a few going on sale on eBay? Should I try some of those? The 2019 maps are cheaper too.

Sell the vw card. I asked a few Seat owners if they were interested in buying the spare ones I had. Best place for trying to sell it is when you visit a retail park.

I think you need the 5FO card. That ebay card is what goes into my head unit, only im running v12.

Is yours 5F0? Keep reading that these can’t be updated and you need the mapcare system…dubious about that to be honest – sounds like something a dealer would say.

Im looking at that site myself. I think you download the software, then use some sort of link to actually activate the data. I’ll check to see what the entire process is.

Does the display look exactly like yours? If so, I think this might be the place to buy. Again, give them a call beforehand, to make sure you order the right card.

Yes but I overwrote it. I did take a backup but my laptop is so old i lost the backup somehow. So I have the old SD card with a new map pack which doesn’t work.
