Use silicone sealant. Take off door cards. Remove metal carrier and clear door drain holes. Seal metal carrier back on and refit door card.

Got a set on mine. Easy to fit and good quality. Since fitting them, three people have got some for their cars; a t5 transporter, renault megan rs250, and a bmw 330i. Make a difference to the look of the leon too.

Had a quick look online. Could be caused by a faulty MAF sensor or an air leak after the MAF. Also check the vacuum hoses for splits or leaks.

Sounds silly but it’s not just the parcel shelf rattling is it? Mine does that as the bracket bit where it joins the shelf to the plastic trim is broken. Can you replicate it when the car is stationary or only when driving?

Just make sure none of the boost pipes have come apart slightly. Common problem is the seals on the standard hoses so a nice set of uprated will help too.

If you have the radio code, i think you use the number buttons on the radio. If you do it wrong and it goes into safe mode, turn the radio on without the keys in the ignition and lock the car. Go back to the car an hour later and you’ll be able to put the code in again.

    Relay?

    Hi there.

I can tell you the fault for the indicator clicking, common problem, mine did it not that long ago. The clicking is coming from the relay in the hazard light switch. I changed mine and it cured it for all of two days. The actual fault is the indicator stalk. Obviously dealer will tell you you need a new stalk, so steering wheel off, remove surround and replace stalk, me, I got some electrical contact cleaner spray (SOB from RS) and sprayed the switch on the steering column. Relay went nuts for about ten seconds and has been fine since. Baasically the switches in the stalk get dust build up on them causing the switch to stick keeping a current on the switch. What I couldn’t work out is why the lights don’t flash when it happens.
The rear wiper could be the same fault, or it could be the relay.

    Hope that helps

Well all went through MOT with no advisories. I’d even adjusted the headlight spot on. Still wating for my SFS silicone hose set, then I’ve got the fun job of fitting it.

I have started looking at Angel eyes headlights. For the price of one standard is the same price as a pair of black angel eyes.

You will most likely get some oil from where the cooler mounts to the engine. Use a try and lots of rag and it should be ok.

So basically the oil pick up has a gauze over the end. Have heard of those getting blocked. Remove sump, take it off, clean it with brake cleaner or similar and rebuild. Do an oil change at the same time.
